What is a credit Bureau?Credit bureaus track personal, financial, and credit information on individuals. This includes personal information taken from public records, personal identification, and debt information. There are currently three major bureaus. They are: EQUIFAX, EXPERIAN, and TRANSUNION. What makes up my credit score?Payment history (35%). The largest factor determined on your credit report and FICO score. FICO score is your basic payment history. Outstanding Debt (30%). Are your cards maxed out? High balances or more precisely, balances that are close to your credit limit can negatively affect your score. Keep your balances below 50%.
